Protection of Plant Varieties

India has an effective system in place for protection of plant varieties, the rights of farmers and plant breeders and to encourage the development of new varieties of plants through The Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Act, 2001 (PPVFR). Our team is well equipped to handle matters related to PPVFR including advisory work, filing of the application and contentious matters.
